Looked After Children

Public, Corporate & Community Art

Project Information
Appointed by the Artists in Learning Network and Children’s Rights we were commissioned to run a one-off workshop with a group of looked after children.

Using the silhouette form, we looked at how we could celebrate an individual's identity and personality. We ran activities around silhouette exploration and then group members were supported to make and decorate a 3D polystyrene head of themselves.

“Yesterday was a great day! All of the young people experienced new ways of creating and expression through the medium of art. Thank you for giving your time to support, inspire and have fun with the group of young people who attended the session from children’s rights”

- Tony Butcher, Children’s Rights
