Public, Corporate & Community Art

Piece Information
Over recent years, Noel Blakeman has created many pieces for public, corporate and community spaces.

‘Waterside’
We created several large signs for the Waterside business park in Northampton. The largest sign shown above incorporated lighting and water within a helical design based on cubes.

‘Allium’
We made a large scale version of our ‘allium’ water feature for St. Joseph’s Specialist School, Cranleigh. The new version was designed specifically to be robust enough to be used by the service users of the school so that they could enjoy the sensory experience of the piece.

‘Bamboo’ Water Feature
We made a water feature in the style of bamboo canes. This piece was designed and made for Irchester Country Park.

‘Recycled Allium’
We were commissioned by London Waste to create a water feature from recycled materials for the ‘Recycled Garden’ they were sponsoring at Capel Manor.

St. John's House
We were commissioned to make a contemporary fire basket and fire back for one of the recently restored fire places within this 17th century house in Warwickshire. We designed and made the fire basket using traditional methods including forge work and fire welding.

The pieces were sympathetically finished to help them blend in with the ancient stonework although they were contemporary in design.
